GTT: investment in Bluefins

(CercleFinance.com) - GTT announces that its investment fund GTT Strategic Ventures has participated in a financing round to support Bluefins, an innovative startup in the field of ship propulsion systems.


A French company founded in 2021, Bluefins has developed, in partnership with Ifremer, an articulated hydrofoil technology inspired by whale flukes, which optimizes energy efficiency and enhances ship stability by reducing pitching.

This €4 million round of financing will enable Bluefins to carry out its first sea trials in early 2025, on a 45-meter AHTS-type vessel, and to begin marketing its first products.
