Carrefour : JP Morgan Chase exceeds 5% stake

(CercleFinance.com) - On September 24, JP Morgan Chase & Co declared to the AMF that it had indirectly exceeded the threshold of 5% of Carrefour's share capital and held, through JP Morgan Securities plc, 5.
53% of the share capital and 4.52% of the voting rights.

The American investment bank states that this threshold crossing results from an off-market acquisition of Carrefour shares and an increase in the number of the retail group's shares held by assimilation.
