KKR: completes sale of GeoStabilization International

(CercleFinance.com) - KKR has announced the sale of GeoStabilization International (GSI) to Leonard Green & Partners (LGP).


GSI is a leading provider of geohazard mitigation solutions and road safety services. The sale offers a return of five times the equity invested by KKR.

Since KKR's acquisition of GSI in December 2018, the company has seen significant growth resulting from KKR's investments in the business. Over this period of around six years, the company has successfully developed its range of brands and services, in particular by expanding into complementary road safety services.

This is an excellent result for all GSI employee-shareholders and our limited partners in KKR's Americas XII fund, and demonstrates our ability to be value-added strategic partners with mid-sized companies, KKR said.
