Casino: sells 26 real estate assets

(CercleFinance.com) - Further to its June 2024 agreement with Tikehau Capital concerning a portfolio of 30 real estate assets, Casino announces that it has completed the sale of 26 of these assets, for a net selling price exceeding E200m, excluding subsequent earn-outs.


The real estate management of these assets will be entrusted to Casino by Tikehau Capital for a period of five years. The sale of the other assets, as provided for in the agreements, will be completed in the coming weeks, once usual conditions precedent have been lifted.

The net proceeds from the sale will be used to reduce Casino's financial debt. The transactions carried out in Q3 will enable approximately E206m to be repaid to the bondholders in the next few days.
