Vinci: wins motorway concession in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Highways, a subsidiary of Vinci Concessions, announces that it has won a 30-year concession to operate and modernize a 594-km section of the BR-040 freeway, linking Belo Horizonte to Cristalina in Brazil.


A dynamic corridor on the main route between Belo Horizonte and Brasilia, this toll freeway recorded 17.5 million transactions last year (+8.3% on 2022), with trucks representing 40% of traffic.

Vinci Highways will take over operation of the freeway in the first quarter of 2025, and will carry out an extensive works program, including the widening of more than 300 km of road and the construction of more than 60 km of service roads.
