Bouygues: wins E247m contract in Australia
(CercleFinance.com) - Health Infastructure has appointed A W Edwards, a Bouygues Construction subsidiary based in Australia, to carry out the redevelopment work at Ryde Hospital.
The project represents a total investment of A$526.8m. Bouygues Construction's share is A$406m (E247m).
The redevelopment includes the creation of a new emergency department, expansion of the intensive care unit, new operating theatres, an ambulatory care center, a short-stay paediatric unit, as well as an increase in the number of adult overnight hospital beds and expansion of the medical imaging center.
It also includes the construction of a 40,000 m2 clinical building equipped with the latest medical technologies, a significant increase in patient capacity and the creation of underground parking lots.
