Hexaom: 32% drop in half-year net income
(CercleFinance.com) - Hexaom has reported net income down 32% to 10 million euros for the first six months of 2024, as well as a current operating margin down 0.
5 points to 3.4%, 'in a complex and unprecedented market environment'.
The homebuilder posted sales of 417 million euros, down 24.5% on a like-for-like basis, as expected, but measures to adapt its cost structure and cost variability enabled it to adjust to this decline.
Hexaom expects to maintain "satisfactory" operating profitability in 2024, at between 3% and 4% of annual sales. For 2025, it expects a more moderate decline in sales, and is aiming for operating profitability at a level equivalent to that of 2024.
