Bénéteau: annual UOM targets tightened up
(CercleFinance.com) - Bénéteau has announced that it is now targeting an operating margin before non-recurring items (UOM) of between 4% and 6% (instead of 3% to 6%) for 2024, i.
e. 6% to 8% excluding US brands, for which the operating loss is expected to be around E15m over the year.
As shipments return to pre-Covid seasonality, the pleasure boat manufacturer confirms its latest sales forecast for the current year, of around E1bn for its boat division.
H1 2024 (pro-forma) net income (group share) fell by 59.4% to E47.5m, while its operating margin contracted by 5.4 points to 10.4%, on sales that fell 25.5% to E766.4m.
