GE Vernova: selected by the IVPC Group

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova has announced that it has been selected by the IVPC Group to repower five wind turbines at its Montefalcone wind farm in Italy.


Repowering involves either replacing old units with new, higher-capacity turbines, or upgrading them with more efficient components - in both cases, significantly increasing the wind farm's output while extending its lifespan.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2025, with the project due for completion by the end of next year.

Gilan Sabatier, sales director for GE Vernova's onshore wind business in international markets, said: 'The use of our latest and most powerful onshore wind turbine will increase the wind farm's energy production and provide even more affordable and sustainable renewable energy to the country'.
