Airbus: cybersecurity partnership with Alstom

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom and Airbus are celebrating a cybersecurity partnership at InnoTrans 2024.


Alstom and Airbus Protect, an Airbus subsidiary bringing together expertise in cybersecurity, safety and services related to sustainable development, are thus announcing significant advances in rail transport cybersecurity.

As part of a global cooperation agreement signed in September 2021, the partners have developed and successfully field-tested a comprehensive industrial security risk assessment methodology for the rail sector.

Julien Touzeau, Head of Cyber Consulting at Airbus Protect, said, "As specialists in cybersecurity for industrial systems and mobility solutions, we are proud to be working closely with Alstom, bringing our experience from the aerospace sector to strengthen the security of information systems in the rail sector".
