Kaufman & Broad: student residence project in Reims

(CercleFinance.com) - Kaufman & Broad and Banque des Territoires have announced the acquisition of a new student residence in Reims, through their jointly-owned 51% and 49% real estate companies.


Following on from the success of the first residences in Gagny and Amiens, this project is part of their joint strategy to expand student accommodation in areas where supply is insufficient.

The residence, which will be NF Habitat HQE certified, will benefit from a heating network based on a geothermal groundwater system. Using 78% renewable and local energies, it will avoid the emission of 820 tonnes of CO² each year.
