Commerzbank: CFO appointed CEO

(CercleFinance.com) - Commerzbank announces that its Supervisory Board has appointed CFO Bettina Orlopp as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective in the near future, to succeed Manfred Knof.


In addition, the Board has decided to appoint Michael Kotzbauer, member of the Management Board with responsibility for corporate customers, as Deputy Managing Director. Both will take up their new positions on five-year contracts.

Regarding the position of CFO, the Supervisory Board has launched a structured search. During the transition period following the handover, Bettina Orlopp will take on both functions.
