GTT: order for four LNG carriers in Korea

(CercleFinance.com) - GTT is pleased to announce that, in the third quarter of 2024, it has received an order from the Korean shipyard HD Hyundai Samho Co to design the tanks for four new LNG carriers, on behalf of a European shipowner.


These LNG carriers will each have a total capacity of 174,000 m3, and will incorporate the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT. The vessels are scheduled for delivery between the first and fourth quarters of 2027.
