Rolls-Royce signs agreement with Lürssen for yachts

(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce and the Lürssen shipyard group, based in Bremen (Germany), are now collaborating even more closely on yacht refits.


Rolls-Royce's Power Systems division and Lürssen Yacht Refit & Services have signed a framework agreement governing cooperation in the overhaul of mtu propulsion systems.

Denise Kurtulus, Senior Vice President Global Marine at Rolls-Royce Power Systems, said: 'This partnership between the two leading suppliers of yacht construction and propulsion creates unique conditions for playing a major role in a very attractive international market - and fits perfectly with our strategy of strengthening the marine business'.
