Eni: milestone achieved in Mozambique

(CercleFinance.com) - Eni announces that Coral Sul FLNG has reached production of 5 million tons of LNG.
This production is located in the very deep waters of the Rovuma Basin, offshore Mozambique.

This is an important milestone for the project, representing not only a major technical and operational achievement, but also a testament to the dedication, commitment and collaboration of the entire team and stakeholders," says management.

Coral Sul FLNG went into production in October 2022 and has exported 70 cargoes of LNG and 10 of condensate to date, making a significant contribution to the country's economic growth.

Coral Sul is a flagship project for the industry, which has placed Mozambique among LNG-producing countries.

Marica Calabrese, Managing Director of Eni Rovuma Basin, said: 'This achievement reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional value to the country of Mozambique. We will continue to work with our partners and the Government of Mozambique to ensure the timely valorization of Mozambique's vast gas resources with additional gas project developments'.
