Atos: contract with RATP for radio equipment

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that its subsidiary Eviden has won the RATP's tender to equip its MP14 metro trains, future MF19s and TW20 tramways with TETRA radio communication systems between centralized control stations and rolling stock.


The Eviden solution chosen by RATP integrates the MAV system (audiovisual resources) for automatic metro lines, the Radio Driver Metro service for manual lines, and the TETRA (TErrestrial Trunk Radio) tramway service.

The contract covers a total of 132 radio units, with an option for a further 800, over a maximum period of eight years. The MP14 metro trains and future MF19s, as well as the TW20 streetcars, are developed by Alstom, another key Eviden partner.
