Société Générale: appointment of Jean-Charles Bernard

(CercleFinance.com) - Société Générale announces the appointment of Jean-Charles Bernard as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions Mid-Caps in France.
He replaces Stéphane Krief, who has taken on new responsibilities within the bank.

Jean-Charles Bernard draws on more than 25 years' experience in M&A consulting. In his new role, he will head up the Mid-Caps team and be actively involved in the origination and execution of M&A mandates in the French mid-cap segment', says the group.

Jean-Charles Bernard reports to Patrick Perreault, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions for France and Global Co-Head of Mergers & Acquisitions.

Jean-Charles Bernard joined Société Générale in France in 2010, first in the Mid-Cap team and then in the Technology, Media & Telecom group. In 2021, he becomes a partner at Edmond de Rothschild Corporate Finance, where he co-manages the Tech & Digital franchise, including IT services, digital engineering and software.
