Ericsson: Carolina Dybeck Happe leaves the board

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson announced Friday evening the resignation from its Board of Directors of Carolina Dybeck Happe, recently appointed to the operational management of the American software giant Microsoft.


In a press release, the network equipment supplier points out that Carolina Dybeck Happe, a Swedish executive with previous experience at A.P. Moller-Maersk and Assa Abloy, had been a director since 2022.

Her departure comes just over a week after the announcement of her appointment as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft.

On the company's blog, Satya Nadella, CEO of the American technology group, explains that he wanted to create this new role in order to welcome the executive, whom he admires for the "historic" turnaround she helped orchestrate at GE.

Within the American industrial conglomerate, she had, in recent years, implemented the separation of the group's aerospace activities under the name GE Aerospace from its energy activities under the GE Vernova banner, two entities whose stock market debuts were crowned with success.
