Nokia: DWDM solution chosen by IGC
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that International Gateway Company Limited (IGC) has chosen its next-generation optical transport solution to upgrade its existing DWDM network, which connects the Eastern region to Cambodia and the Southern region to Malaysia.
The upgraded network will be capable of transmitting 400G per wavelength, enabling IGC to more effectively manage the booming traffic demand while ensuring superior data center connectivity for its customers.
Based on its latest PSE (Photonic Service Engine) chipset, Nokia's DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) solution will enable IGC to improve energy efficiency while increasing network capacity and availability.
