TotalEnergies: new SAF contract with Air France-KLM

(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies and Air France-KLM announce that they have signed an agreement for the supply by the former of more sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to the latter, representing up to 1.
5 million tonnes over a 10-year period, i.e. until 2035.

This is one of the largest SAF purchase contracts signed by the airline to date. It follows on from a memorandum of understanding signed in 2022 for the supply of 800,000 tonnes of SAF by the energy group.

The SAF supplied to Air France-KLM will be produced from waste and residues from the circular economy, processed in TotalEnergies' biorefineries and by coprocessing in its French and European refineries.
