Nokia: strategic partnership with Zain Iraq

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announces a three-year strategic partnership with Zain Iraq to upgrade the telecom operator's network in southern Iraq, increasing network capacity with advanced microwave technology.


This deployment, marking the Finnish company's entry into the microwave business with Zain Iraq, will begin immediately, with a focus on optimising network performance and ensuring scalability to accommodate future growth.

At the heart of this deployment is the UBT-T XP version, which offers the highest transmission power on the market. This technology reduces the size of antennas and the load on towers, resulting in significant cost savings, Nokia says.
