Safran: launch of a second tranche of share buybacks

(CercleFinance.com) - Following a first tranche of 250 million euros executed in July and August, Safran has signed an agreement with an investment services provider for the second tranche of its share buyback program.


Under the agreed terms, the aircraft engine and equipment manufacturer will purchase its own shares for a maximum amount of 500 million euros, starting on September 23 and ending no later than December 11, at a maximum price of 300 euros per share.

As a reminder, the share buyback announced in July 2023 is for a total of one billion euros, to be carried out in 2024 and 2025. The AGM of May 23 set the maximum buyback price at 300 euros per share.
