Boiron: fall in 1st half results

5% drop in net income (group share) to 3.33 million euros and a 72.6% drop in operating income to 4.87 million euros for the first half of 2024, on sales down 4.8% to 228.3 million euros.

The company explained that sales of non-proprietary homeopathic medicines in France and homeopathic specialties in Europe as a whole were down, while sales of homeopathic specialties rose in North America.

In line with forecasts, disbursements for the reorganization in France for the first half of 2024 amounted to 3.07 million euros. Sales and earnings for the full year will depend mainly on the level of pathologies at the end of the year.
