Xilam: positive week thanks to buoyant news

(CercleFinance.com) - Xilam jumped 8% on the Paris Bourse on Friday after announcing the worldwide launch on Netflix of its new animated series for adults, 'Twilight of the Gods'.


The series, created by American director and producer Zack Snyder and devoted to Norse mythology, has been the subject of extensive promotion, including a giant projection on a billboard in New York's Times Square.

Xilam, which points out that the production has been enthusiastically received by the press, explains that this project confirms its ambitions in terms of adult action series aimed at a global audience.

Earlier in the week, the French studio had announced the launch of production on its new family film, 'Lucy Lost', adapted from the novel 'Listen to the Moon', due for delivery in March 2026.

The group is also due to publish its half-yearly results on Monday September 30, after the close of trading on the Paris Bourse.

By climbing more than 8% today, the share price has gained more than 15% over the week, and is now largely positive for the year as a whole, with a gain of around 18%.
