Technip Energies: major contract with Lake Charles LNG
(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies announces that KTJV, its joint venture with KBR, has been selected by Lake Charles LNG for a 'major' (it says over E1bn) engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction (EPFC) project.
Subject to Lake Charles LNG's final investment decision, this project will convert its import and regasification terminal in Louisiana into an LNG export terminal, making it one of the largest LNG infrastructures in the US.
The contract includes the construction of a new LNG export facility with a capacity of 16.45 million tons per year, as well as the modification of LNG storage facilities and start-up of the terminal.
