Siemens: targets aligned with SBTi Net-Zero standard

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens announces the confirmation of its updated emissions reduction targets by the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative.


Siemens' short- and long-term targets are now aligned with the SBTi Net-Zero standard for Scope 1, 2 and 3 targets for 2030 and 2050.

The SBTi Net-Zero standard is the leading global framework for setting corporate net-zero targets in line with climate science.

This confirmation by SBTi validates Siemens' science-based approach to net-zero emissions, which is fully in line with the Paris Agreement.
