URW: store opening delayed

(CercleFinance.com) - URW announces that the opening of the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier store will be delayed until the end of the first quarter of 2025.
The delay in store opening will result in additional costs estimated at 100 million euros.

The delay in relation to the previously announced opening date of October 17, 2024 provides the additional time required to complete the commissioning phase of the project.

This mainly concerns operational elements such as fire and life safety and other mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.

The Group will determine a new opening date in consultation with tenants.

As of September 13, 2024, over 75% of leased units are ready to open or in the advanced stages of completion.
