Technip Energies: recruitment of a Strategy Director

(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies announced on Wednesday the appointment of Benjamin Lechuga to the position of Group Strategy and Sustainable Development Director.


This engineer by training comes to Technip Energies from Deloitte in Switzerland, where he worked on strategy and M&A consulting in the energy, infrastructure and industry sectors, says the engineering group.

Between 2007 and 2013, he held senior positions in Paris for Société Générale AM/4D Global Energy Capital, an investment fund dedicated to energy.

He also led strategic planning and business development initiatives at Areva Renewables, the renewable energy arm of the former French nuclear giant.

A graduate of the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Ecole Polytechnique, he began his career with Shell in the UK, where he worked until 2006, notably on major LNG projects.

As chief strategy & sustainability officer and member of the executive committee, Benjamin Lechuga will oversee Technip Energies' strategy, mergers & acquisitions and sustainable development strategy.
