Airbus: Indonesia orders four helicopters

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced an order from the Indonesian Air Force for four H145 helicopters as part of its training modernization program, at this week's Bali International Airshow.


The aircraft manufacturer will deliver the five-bladed H145s to PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI), which will manage the reassembly and completion of mission equipment, as well as other customization work, before final delivery to the air force.

These multi-mission helicopters will be deployed for military training and light search and rescue missions. Worldwide, more than 1,700 H145 family helicopters are in service, with a total of over 7.9 million flight hours.
