Vinci: freeway traffic up 3.7% in August

(CercleFinance.com) - Motorway traffic was up 3.
7% in August 2024, while cumulative traffic to the end of August (8 months) was down 0.5%.

Cumulative traffic for July and August was slightly up on 2023 (+0.4%, of which light vehicles +0.2% and heavy goods vehicles +1.9%), limiting the decline in traffic since the start of the year.

Following on from July, Vinci Airports' passenger traffic showed good overall momentum in August, reflecting sustained summer demand. Overall, August passenger traffic grew by more than 6% year-on-year, and by 3% year-on-year in 2019.
