Nokia: Oi deploys Corteca suite in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that Brazilian broadband provider Oi has deployed its Corteca home connectivity software suite to help manage Wi-Fi devices in customers' homes, its largest deployment to date in Latin America.


'Nokia Corteca improves Wi-Fi performance and customer experience while helping operators unlock new revenue streams, reduce operational costs and manage assets with anti-theft functionality', explains the Finnish company.

Oi plans to use the suite to manage millions of Wi-Fi devices, including troubleshooting home Wi-Fi issues without on-site technicians, and offer new services via the Corteca application marketplace.
