Eiffage signs two new wind power contracts
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage, through Smulders (Eiffage Métal's Belgian subsidiary), has won eight significant contracts since the start of 2024 in the growing offshore wind energy sector.
Two new contracts have just been signed, bringing Smulders' order intake for 2024 to over 1 billion euros.
As part of the development of the Baltyk 2 and Baltyk 3 offshore wind farms off the coast of Poland, Equinor and Polenergia have signed an EPC contract with Smulders for the platform and jackets foundations of the two electrical substations.
Smulders will be responsible for the design, procurement, fabrication, testing and commissioning of both substations (excluding electrical systems).
The two substations will be delivered between mid-2026 and mid-2027.
