Siemens to develop charging stations for E.ON

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Smart Infrastructure and E.
ON Drive Infrastructure have signed an agreement to provide smart, efficient fast-charging infrastructure for millions of electric vehicles on the road in Europe.

The two companies have signed a comprehensive framework agreement that includes access to the Sifinity Control online management service, in addition to DC charging stations.

The framework agreement will enable the two companies to strengthen the charging infrastructure throughout Europe, particularly in Germany, Italy, Sweden and the UK.

This will enable E.ON to launch at least 1,000 new high-power public charging points per year.
