The technology consulting group says it has been asked to update the office's technology tools with the aim of improving efficiency, notably through the use of data and real-time analytics.

The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (Pepfar), which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, aims to accelerate health progress towards the eradication of HIV and the disease as a public health threat by 2030.

Coordinated by the State Department's Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy, the organization estimates that 25 million lives have been saved worldwide through its prevention efforts.

Accenture Federal Services has been awarded a one-year contract, with an option for an additional four years.
