Generali: supported by broker upgrade

(CercleFinance.com) - Generali is up over 2% in Milan, helped by a recommendation upgrade by Jefferies from 'hold' to 'buy' on the Italian insurance company's stock, with a price target raised from 22 to 28.

In the summary of its note, the broker points out that since 2016, Generali has succeeded in particular in reducing its debt, switching to lower-risk products and making asset management a significant contributor to earnings.
