Eutelsat: new multi-year agreement with Al Jazeera

(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat Group announces a new multi-year, multi-satellite agreement with Al Jazeera Media Network, reaffirming its commitment to broadcasting services across the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.


The agreement will ensure continuity of broadcasting of Al Jazeera's bouquet of news and events channels in SD and HD from 7/8° West (Middle East and North Africa), Eutelsat Hotbird (Europe) and Eutelsat 16A (Central and Eastern Europe).

This agreement highlights the importance of satellites in reaching large audiences across vast territories, Eutelsat's video business unit said.
