Diageo: 'revolutionary' bottle for Johnnie Walker

(CercleFinance.com) - Johnnie Walker has launched a limited innovation with the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ultra, a 70 cl glass bottle considered to be 'the world's lightest in this category'.


Weighing just 180g without the cap, this 'revolutionary' bottle is the result of five years of research and experimentation with external partners to rethink design and manufacture.

The brand aims to reduce carbon emissions by lightening packaging.

A new blend of Johnnie Walker Blue Label has been created for this limited edition. Only 888 bottles will be produced and available for sale in 2025.

The bottle will be unveiled at the London Design Festival on September 14.
