BASF: inaugurates new production plant in Antwerp

(CercleFinance.com) - BASF announces the inauguration of a new major alkyl ethanolamine production plant at its Verbund site in Antwerp, Belgium.


This investment increases BASF's worldwide production capacity by almost 30%, to 140,000 tonnes per year.

The plant will serve to meet the growing demand for alkyl ethanolamines, used in gas treatment, the coatings industry and products such as fabric softeners.
