Ford: Ford Pro boss to retire

(CercleFinance.com) - Ford announced on Thursday the forthcoming retirement of Ted Cannis, the current head of its Ford Pro commercial vehicle division.

The American automotive group says the executive will leave the company at the end of September after a 35-year career with the company.

He will be replaced, on an interim basis, by Andrew Frick, the head of the Ford Blue combustion vehicle division, until a successor has been named.

Ted Cannis, who took over as head of Ford Pro when it was created in 2021, has transformed the entity into a high-growth, high-margin company that is expected to generate sales of $70 billion this year.

Since 2023, he has also been in charge of Ford's FCSD subsidiary, which handles not only parts delivery, but also accessory manufacturing and vehicle personalization.

He will be succeeded as head of FCSD by Daniel Justo, Ford Blue's current CFO.
