BMW: working with CRTA on battery production

(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group announces that its Battery Cell Competence Center (BCCC) will work with the Regional Center of Excellence for Robotics Technology (CRTA) at the University of Zagreb to improve battery cell production using artificial intelligence (AI).


Zagreb researchers are analyzing existing production data to create AI models capable of optimizing performance, quality and costs.

The University of Zagreb will thus contribute its technical expertise, and both partners will benefit from an enriching exchange of knowledge.

Students will also benefit from mentoring and professional opportunities, says the BMW press release.
