GE Vernova: launches new 2000-volt inverter

(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announces the launch of its new 6 MVA, 2000 V DC inverter, with a pilot installation planned in North America for early 2025.


This inverter, designed for solar farms, aims to reduce solar energy costs and improve plant scalability.

Thanks to a 2000 V DC architecture, it increases energy production by 30% while reducing operating costs.

GE Vernova is collaborating with Shoals Technologies Group and a photovoltaic module supplier on this project.
