ABB: development agreement with ECT

(CercleFinance.com) - ABB has signed an agreement with Energy Control Technologies (ECT) to develop an integrated turbomachinery control solution in the ABB Ability System 800xA.


This solution aims to reduce the footprint and complexity of control systems while reducing automation and electricity CAPEX by up to 20%.

By unifying controls, ABB and ECT eliminate multiple systems, offering faster start-up and better machine protection.

Paul Fisher, President of ECT, emphasizes that this innovation will improve production, energy efficiency and equipment protection for users.
