Vantiva: presents AI-powered Android TV set-top box

(CercleFinance.com) - Vantiva today presented the ONYX 4K Ultra HD Android TV set-top box, its latest AI-powered platform.


Featuring a quad-core 40K processor and a 4 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU), the ONYX set-top box is billed as 'one of the first to integrate innovative artificial intelligence capabilities' paving the way for a number of next-generation uses, such as the identification and localization of specific events in video and image enhancement functionalities.

The ONYX decoder will be presented at IBC 2024 in Amsterdam, from September 13 to 16.

'As ONYX supports HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby® Vision, end-users will be able to enjoy a more immersive video experience', commented Leopold Diouf, Executive Director in charge of product activities at Vantiva.
