Lockheed Martin: contract for 3 radars with Norway
(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin announces that the Norwegian Defense Materiel Agency (NDMA) has ordered three additional TPY-4 radars, bringing the total to 11.
These radars, dubbed 'NATO's eyes in the north', have recently passed critical design review.
Chandra Marshall, Vice President of Radar and Sensor Systems at Lockheed Martin, emphasized their importance to Norwegian defense and deterrence in the Nordic region.
In collaboration with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA), the radars will be integrated into Norway's air surveillance network.
