Haulotte: profits up, business down
(CercleFinance.com) - Haulotte has published sales of 363 ME for the 1st half of the 2024 financial year, reflecting a 10% drop in activity (at constant exchange rates) compared with the same period a year earlier.
In detail, machine sales were down 12% (ME 316), rental sales were down 3% (ME 11), but service sales were up 3% (ME 36).
Net income for the first half came to MEF 15, compared with MEF 1 a year earlier. In addition, the Group's net debt (excluding guarantees and IFRS 16) came to 210 ME, down by -30 ME over the period, driven by the good operating performance of the 1st half, reports the Group.
In a context that is 'more uncertain than expected', Haulotte forecasts a fall in sales of close to -10% over 2024.
