American Airlines: creation of 500 maintenance positions

(CercleFinance.com) - American Airlines has announced the creation of nearly 500 new aircraft maintenance positions at its Charlotte (133 positions), Pittsburgh (44 positions) and Tulsa (321 positions) sites.


These additions will enable the company to carry out more heavy maintenance work.

American is delighted to expand our Technical team with more well-paid, skilled aviation maintenance positions," says Greg Emerson, Vice President of Base Maintenance and Facilities.

This announcement follows the creation of more than 300 jobs in Tulsa thanks to a $22 million grant received in 2023.
