Rio Tinto: partnership with Utah State University

(CercleFinance.com) - Rio Tinto Kennecot announces a $450,000 partnership with Utah State University's Janet Quinney Lawson Institute for Earth, Water and Air.


This funding of $150,000 per year, from 2024 to 2026, will support high-impact projects such as the Impact Grants program, the annual Utah Resource Report, and new initiatives.

Supporting the Janet Quinney Lawson Institute is one of the most effective ways to strengthen education and conservation efforts for our state's critical natural resources,' said Nate Foster, Managing Director, Rio Tinto Kennecott.
