Engie: renews partnership with INRAE for 5 years

(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has announced the renewal of its partnership with INRAE (Institut national de recherche pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement) for a period of 5 years, aimed at accelerating the development of biomethane from agricultural waste and residues.


This new framework agreement falls within the framework of agroecology, with a particular focus on environmental impact and resilience in the face of climate change.

It prioritises several key issues: the valuation of biowaste, the development of energy crops, the management of agricultural resources in the face of climate change, and the optimisation of biomethane production in France.
