URW: E1.3bn green bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday evening Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield announced that it had successfully placed two tranches of green bonds totaling E1.
3bn.

The transaction comprises a first tranche of E650m at a fixed rate of 3.50%, due to mature in five years, while the other, with a maturity of ten years, will carry a coupon of 3.875%.

The commercial real estate group states that the issue, which was four times oversubscribed to, generated strong demand, with an order book reaching over E5.2bn.

URW says that the funds are intended to finance projects as set out in the environmental roadmap presented in 2022.
