ExxonMobil: ADNOC invests in future Texas site

(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil announces that ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, the national oil company of the United Arab Emirates) is acquiring a 35% interest in a future ExxonMobil facility in Baytown, Texas.


The facility will produce hydrogen and low-carbon ammonia, with a planned capacity of 1 billion cubic feet of hydrogen per day and over 1 million tons of ammonia per year.

The project, scheduled to start up in 2029, aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the global energy transition.
